I ordered the Survival Ammo Can for my husband for Valentine's Day. The Ammo can was great, but what he really wanted was the Exotic Meats crate, since he already owned a lot of the items in the Ammo can. I contacted ManCrates (two months later, i might add) to ask if it was maybe, perhaps, at all possible to exchange the Ammo can for the Exotic Meats crate. Will, Customer Service Champion, promptly emailed me back. My husband loves the new crate!! It is so hard to find good customer service these days, and Will and everyone at ManCrates went above and beyond what i hoped they would do. They have earned a customer for life!!

The Exotic Jerky Treats were great. This made a great Birthday gift for my Dad. He loved the crate and loved the Jerky even more.

My husband loved this! I joked on him about prying open the crate and was even more pleased to see his eyes lit up when he saw all the different jerkies in it! Everyone of them was delicious; Yes, he even shared a smidgeon with me. Alligator, Kangaroo, Elk, Pheasant, Duck, Buffalo and still MORE??!! Crazy and awesome variety and he's loving every bite of it :)! Perfect anniversary gift for my man!

Fantastic gift for the hubby! I went the extra mile and got it duct taped for wrapping excellence--t'was fun to watch him go through the tape and then the crate. He quite enjoyed the array of samplers. To be honest, I was kinda taken aback by the price when all was said and done. BUT, definitely worth the buy as the variety was fantastic and it arrived right on time. I will be shopping here again.

Honestly, I thought it was a bit beyond what we would normally choose for a gift but we wanted something extraordinary to gift our Boss for his birthday. I knew he would get a kick out of it being delivered to him (oh the look on his face was priceless) personally and having to crack it open with the crowbar (which by the way is very small for most men imo) but it was a great gift! The selection was satisfactory and I hope maybe it could be customizable next time with more selection of exotic meats or interchange what you can include ... like my boss loves bacon. It would have been awesome if there was an option to include that.

Thank you guys sooo much I really wanted to get my boyfriend (who is currently working in another state)something spectacular for Valentines Day and finding a "gift basket" for a man (who is also diabetic) is impossible. I searched soo many sites and the selection was terrible. A basket with a black or blue bow still isn't manly or cool! Not only was he excited,his friends went crazy they loved it. I got this for my man for his birthday. He thought it was amusing to pry open the crate, and the kids were amused watching him. There was a good amount of jerky inside the crate, and the selection was great. He likes to try foods that are out of the ordinary, and this crate provided that opportunity. I think I will order one for my 13-year-old son next time, he will really get a kick out of it as well.

I got this as a Valentines gift for my fiancé. He loved it. It seems that there a lot of complaints about the overall size and amount that you get for the price...this initially worried me as well. However after the crate was received and opened, there is quite bit, for jerky. You also have to factor in that the jerky is not from a cow! It's exotic meat, that &/€% is normally pretty expensive. A+, Man Crate peeps. I'll be back to place orders for Father's Day!

I bought this for my husband for our anniversary. He thought it was awesome to open the box with a crow bar, and he loved the variety of jerky inside. I looked at other sites to buy the meat separately and put the box together myself, but jerky is not cheap so this was the best option(and the coolest). I'd buy again!

I bought this because I never know what to get my husband for Christmas because he has everything. He loved it. He has already eaten two packages of the jerky and is planning on taking it to work to share with his friends. The crate took some work getting into but that was part of the fun. I know where the rest of his gifts are coming from for future years. The shipping time was fast and price to ship to Canada was more than fair. I was impressed with my first order.

My dad is hard to shop for but I got him this crate for Christmas. It was THE hit of the day. Everyone loved that it came in the crate and with a crowbar. And my dad was excited about sampling all the meats. My mom and grandma went on and on about what a great idea it was and I've already had 3 more people ask where I got the crate so they could get this crate or another for the men in their lives.

This was a fun gift for my brother to open on Christmas. He struggled to get the crate open because it is nailed and glued....A little disappointed in the size. Thought it would be bigger for the price. The most fun came after it was opened and the whole family sat around and tried each item. Some were very dry, but others were pretty good. The all around favorite was the teriyaki elk.
